Hey everyone! How are you guys? It’s been a while since I wrote an article in this blog. Truth be told, I’ve been quite busy with certain things such as my Saturday classes for the Registered Financial Planner’s Program. Yup! You read that right. I’m finally pursuing one of my goals in the Financial Industry. Soon enough, I’ll be writing more articles about personal finance, so just stay tuned and subscribe to this blog after reading this post. 🙂
Anyways, enough of the updates about me, I know you’ve clicked on this article because of the title. And yes! The title is correct. Today’s post is not about Personal Finance or Entrepreneurship. It’s actually about something that’s quite a popular topic especially for young people out there. Today, I’ll be sharing a simple letter that’s been circling on my mind for the past few days. It’s an open letter to my future girlfriend. <3
Dear Future Girlfriend,
How are you? Today I’m writing this letter for you as I know that it’ll be something that I’ll want to share with you when we finally meet. Did you know that during the times that I was searching for you, I’ve been hurt by people whom I thought was finally you? There was even a time that I almost gave up on believing that true love really exist. It’s just amazing that as the days, weeks, months and even years passed by, I started to realize that these experiences are actually just events that are preparing me for the time that I’ll eventually meet you. And right now, I want you to pay close attention to everything that you’ll be reading next. Because the following things are actually the things that I want you to remember.
I believe that the most amazing relationships always start at friendship. I want to act silly, hang out and spend time with you. I want to travel the world with you; be able to talk to you comfortably, and simply spend time with you in praising and praying to God. I want you to feel that you are my best friend and not just my girlfriend. I want us to be open about each other’s life, and I don’t want things to revolve to just between the “two of us”. I want our relationship to extend to different aspects of our lives, including our friends, family, and most of all “God”.
I believe that our relationship will really last long as we both learn to accept the good and bad things about each other. Always remember, despite everything that I’ve mentioned above, I want to make it clear that I don’t want you to change a single thing about yourself just to meet my expectations. Changing your identity and becoming someone completely different is not what I want.
Take it easy! Chill out! I already like you, and I like you for who you truly are. I am looking forward to the time that we finally meet. I don’t know, maybe one of these days, we will. I trust that God will lead us to each other at the right time, at the right place, and at the right circumstances. We’ll find each other eventually, and when that time comes, I know, you’ll prove to me that you are definitely worth the long wait.
I hope and pray that you’re still out there and we will meet in the most unexpected and marvelous way.
Your Future Boyfriend
P.S. I’m attaching this short video clip that I saw while browsing the internet. I’m quite sure that you’ll like its message. I know, because I did. 🙂
